about
Where creativity shapes the city.
The Arts District of Winston-Salem exists to champion the artists, makers, and businesses that give Downtown its creative pulse. We believe art is not just something you see. It is something you experience, support, and carry with you.
From studio doors to street corners, we work to ensure the Arts District remains vibrant, welcoming, and rooted in community.
what we believe.
Our Mission

Our Vision
ADWS fosters a thriving community that inspires and advocates for creative opportunities, making the Arts District a destination. We are reinforcing and reinvigorating our city’s slogan of “The City of Arts and Innovation.”
